Yes, it’s another Birthday card! I know, I’ve been trying to spread them out a bit, but somehow I have ended up with a few still waiting to be blogged about… they have all be sent though so I’m trying to remember which cards I haven’t shared yet!
I sent this to my gorgeous sister-in-law at the beginning of the month, yes it really has taken me all month to get round to sharing! I know, it’s shocking!
I love love love this technique! The flower is stamped onto Whisper White in Archival Basic Black ink, and then ‘coloured in’ with Fine-Tip Glue. Then comes the absolute KEY to this technique, leave it to dry overnight!
The glue acts as a mask, so that when you stamp, or sponge, or watercolor over the top the areas with the glue stay white. It is so pretty here in Melon Mambo.
