StampinByHannah Repeat Stamping with Half Full
I am LOVING the Half Full stamp set at the moment! My lovely team leader kindly gifted this stamp set to me at team training in November, and while it hadn’t appeared on my Must Have list, I have had heaps of fun making cards with it. (I even made my mother’s birthday card with it a few weeks ago!). I actually made this card at the same Team Training and got lots of ooohs and aahhs after I made it.
My favourite stamp in the Half Full Stamp Set is this one with the collection of wine glasses. The stamp actually only has 6 wine glasses on it, but I have stamped it repeatedly here to create this fun background. This can look really tricky, but is really simple… I actually free-hand stamped here, but I do have some ways you could ensure perfect placement too
- Grab your ruler and pencil and draw feint lines across your card stock to use as a guide for stamping. Once you have stamped, give your ink a couple of minutes to ensure it is dry and erase the pencil
- Use a stamp-a-ma-jig… I LOVE mine and use it all the time to ensure perfectly positioned images
- Reserve your Stamparatus today…. although it won’t help with your stamp positioning until March 2018, this stamp positioner WILL revolutionise the way you stamp!
I choose to keep this card simple, and let that background stamping do most of the talking! However, I could not pass the chance to play with some Mini Gold Sequin Trim, or tie a bow in the GORGEOUS Basic Black Shimmery Ribbon!
