Technique Tuesday Blog Hop | Dry Embossing with In the Moment…

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this month’s Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. Gosh its been a while since I have managed to take part in one of these… so excited to be back though! This months technique is Dry Embossing… although this card actually features both heat embossing and dry embossing.

I made this card for my sister-in-law’s birthday this week. using the In the Moment stamp set. You can see the heat embossing part of this card over on my Instagram. The background is one of the Online Exclusive embossing folders which for me is an absolute staple.

Inspire.Create.Challenge 155 | A Walk in the Forest

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge. I have to admit that this was a bit last minute… a card made yesterday morning! This week’s challenge is a sketch, hop over to the Inspire.Create blog to see it and the other fabulous creations from the Design Team.

There isn’t a lot of stamping on this card. It uses the Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper, and both the tree and the bear are cut from this paper too! The tag is from the Merry and Bright bundle, along with the sentiment.

Global Design Project 418 | Love for You…

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah and another Global Design Project idea. So, I made a card for last week.. posted it on Social Media and completely forgot to share it here! Honestly, head has been in the shed for the past couple of weeks… so many shifts at work and juggling childcare hasn’t left me with a lot of brain space for crafting, let alone blogging and sharing.

This week’s challenge is a sketch, and I have kept fairly strictly to it this time. The stripes in the background are hand drawn using a Stampin’ Blend. I’ve gone for a bit of tone on tone here with Orchid Oasis card stock and Blends.

The flowers and sentiment are from the Love For You bundle, and are stamped in Sweet Sorbet, Crushed Curry and Boho Blue.

I have a video for this card coming on Saturday. but wanted to get it uploaded here first.

InspireINK | Creating your own Designer Series Paper…

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this month’s InspireINK blog hop. This month we have a fabulous sketch do check the links of other Design Team members at the end of this blog post.

As usual I altered the sketch… this time by rotating the sketch by 90 degrees.

I have made this card twice… the first version used a scrap from other project which I made at a recent team event.

Both cards use the Textured Floral stamp set, one of my current favourites!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #153 | Autumn with Timeless Arrangements

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this weeks Inspire.Create.Challenge Design Team project. This week our Theme is Halloween/Autumn… but I was away at a crafty retreat last weekend with slightly limited supplies when I had the chance to create for this week, and so its not particularly autumnal, and definitely not Halloweeen-y… but you could totally make this card spooky if you so desired!

The colour combination here is Calypso Coral, Smokey Slate and Basic White. I am still really enjoying all the little floral stamps in Timeless Arrangements too!

Global Design Project #413 | Something Fancy with Abundant Beauty

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah. I was really unsure about this weeks Global Design Project colour combination… and I actually do need to admit that I have tweaked it slightly! Their combination is Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Basic Black. But Cajun Crazy is a colour that doesn’t light my fire, and so I don’t actually own anything in that colour! (I know, I’m sure I shouldn’t really be admitted that as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!) Anyway, I switched it for Copper Clay which is one of the new 2023-2025 In Colours instead

This card is a sort I don’t make too often, as it uses a stamp set, a different die set, masks, and an embossing folder. BUT the combination was too good to pass up! I am really loving the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, but I hadn’t thought of inking the Sunflowers without using a Yellow…. Here they are in Pumpkin Pie with Copper Clay for the centres.

The sentiment is taken from Something Fancy, and that fabulous tag die is from Merriest Trees

Inspire.Create.Challenge #152 | Fun Colour Combination with Timeless Arrangements from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for the next Inspire.Create.Challenge. This time the lovely Jo has set us a colour combination. I have to admit that its not a combination that naturally jumped out at me, however, I really like the final look of this card and I think I could be persuaded to use these colours together again.

At first, I really struggled to think of anything to do with these colours. But the Abundant Beauty Masks were winking at me across my desk, and once I had inked the background the rest of the card came together pretty quickly.

The sentiment / embellishment is from Timeless Arrangement… I’m struggling to put this set away right now! It just makes the perfect grounding spot for sentiments. I felt that it needed a bit of separation from the background though so I added a Stylish Shapes square cut from Vellum behind… and then finished the card with a trio of 2023-2025 In Colour dots (which technically are Wild Wheat rather than Crushed Curry… but I think they still work)

Global Design Project #412 | Crushed Curry Textured Florals….

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah…. I’m not usually this late in the week for my Global Design Project make, but this week I’ve been on night shifts at the day job and so today is the first time I’ve felt somewhere approaching human enough to get into my craft room!

This week the Project is an inspiration piece…. which I have basically used a sketch.

I loved the layering and the white on white die cuts on the original card, and so have used the same here with Textured Floral. The Design Series Paper is Inked Botanicals, and while its not designed to match with Textured Floral, it works well as a pair.

The colour combination here is Crushed Curry, with Basic White, Basic Black and Lost Lagoon. I finished the card, and thought it looked a bit too white, and so added some ink splatter in Lost Lagoon with a Stampin’ Write Marker.

Ink.Stamp.Share | Cute Christmas Card using Gifts of Giving from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah! I haven’t joined in with Ink Stamp Share before, but I am always up for a blog hop. This time we are showcasing our recent makes, nothing specific so there will be HEAPS of inspiration if you follow the links at the end of this post.

I had SO much fun making this card. Using Gifts of Giving and colouring this cute Santa using Stampin’ Blends. Then the background which uses Embossing Paste and the new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, which I also inked onto a scrap of Vellum.

InspireINK | Halloween inspired Birthday Card…

InspirInk Blog Hop Header Stampin' Up! team blog hop

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this months InspireINK blog hop. This month we have a colour combination;

I’m sure those into Halloween will have heaps of ideas with this combination, but for me its a bit of a struggle. In the end I’ve opted to make a card I have made before… just in a different colour combination.

This is my ‘go-to’ card design for those tricky to make Male birthday cards. Super simple stamping with Rays of Light and a sentiment from Biggest Wish.
